Aleksandar Stevanovic, Ph.D., P.E., F.ASCE, an associate professor of civil and environmental engineering at the Swanson School of Engineering, at University of Pittsburgh, has been named a Fellow by the ASCE Board of Direction.
Stevanovic teaches courses in transportation and traffic engineering, transportation planning, and operations research. His teaching and research interests include a variety of subjects, such as traffic signal systems, traffic engineering and operations, intelligent transportation systems, multimodal and sustainable operations, and others. He has advised more than 40 graduate students and five postdoctoral associates, and he has served on the Ph.D. committees and graduate programs
