Kevin Lee Young, a project engineer for Milian, Swain & Associates Inc., in Miami, has died. He was 49.

Being of an analytical bent from an early age, he enjoyed applying himself to problem-solving when others sought his advice. But if he wasn’t busy benefitting others’ lives he could be found with his first love, analyzing and fixing cars.
