Koo becomes newest ASCE Fellow


Dan D. Koo, Ph.D., P.E., F.ASCE, associate professor, interim director of Construction Management, and founding director of the Smart Infrastructure Laboratory in the Purdue School of Engineering Technology at Indiana University–Purdue University, Indianapolis (IUPUI), has been named a Fellow by the ASCE Board of Direction.

Koo’s area of expertise is in underground infrastructure asset management and sustainability, trenchless technologies, infrastructure connections to electric vehicle deployment, and smart infrastructure systems. His research and development have resulted in profound new findings and applications in underground infrastructure rehabilitation and renewal.
