Gregory B. Baecher, Ph.D., Dist.M.ASCE, NAE, Glenn L. Martin Institute Professor of Engineering at the University of Maryland, has been honored with inclusion by ASCE in its 2021 class of Distinguished Members for his development and implementation of probabilistic and risk-based approaches to geotechnical and water resources engineering.
